Our washing machine has given up the will to live... Let me start at the beginning. Two days ago we noticed that everything in the washing machine was still wet. So, I put the spin cycle back on but the engine did not purrr like a 1 year and 1 month old machine should. Colby dug out the manual and went through all the troubleshooting tips but to no avail. Today I had the machine looked at and was told the engine had died. I was in disbelief. How is it possible? I racked my brain to figure out what I had put in the washer to make it spin it's last go round but nothing came to mind.
Then I remembered that I had looked at my neighbor Amy's blog and her new laundry room with envy. You can read about it here. I truly believe our washer gave up the will to live, sort of like how sheep can just think a sad thought and die. I believe our washer was heartbroken that I had not taken the time to paint or update the room.

Wow - that must be the world record for a wash machine. Not cool.
That's horrible! 1 1/2 years old is still new! Kimmie...if you paint that laundry room I'm really going to feel inadequate here. I can not believe what you have gotten done while on maternity leave. You are AMAZING!
Oh how sad! That is horrible! Only 1 1/2 years old? So not fun! You're welcome to come and use my machine incase the pile of clean clothes start to dwindle.
That so totally stinks! Ha Ha oh hoo hoo ha ha. I didn't even mean to make a joke. Really, I would take that old-new stupid washer out back and shoot it. Perfect target practice.
