As the day continues..

Sorry I got a little behind. Hmmm, where were we? Right, 9:30 am swing time while Mommy does a little work on the computer.

10:30 am had me a nice snack. hmmm, chicken. Doesn't everything taste like chicken?

11:15 am YEAH!! The new air conditioner was delivered!! 14,000 BTUs of sweet coolness!!!

12:04 pm naptime.

1:15pm Dressed and ready to take on the world!

Day in the life...

Daddy had to go back to work today so Mommy and I decided to do a continuous post today to keep Daddy updated.

6:10 am Here I am waving good bye

6:11 am I ate but no pictures are allowed during mealtimes.

7:05 am I decided I wanted to wear a different pair of jammies.

7:52 am I am currently taking a nap in my crib.

See later alligator!

8:55am 5 alarm!

8:55 and 30 seconds Mid-morning snack time!

Peek-a-boo

Daddy played peek-a-boo tonight with Elle. This was a sudden game of peek-a-boo brought about by Mommy letting her guard down while getting Elle ready for bed...

This is fun, again Daddy, again!

Getting a snuggle from Daddy before he heads back to work tomorrow :(

P.S. Sorry Grami, the sheets were not ironed. Mommy was a bit tired tonight. Okay, let's be real Mommy hasn't ironed since the '90s. Also Thank you Gia for the jammies, I love them!

It's hot in Herrre!!

We just got back Thursday night from a week in the 'burg. As we left Ellensburg, we stopped at every possible place that might have an air conditioner for sale but to no avail. We had so thoroughly enjoyed the AC at Grami and Poppi's that when we walked in the house and the thermostat said 88, I wanted to turn around and high tail it back over. It took our breath away. One good thing about the heat, it made our house smell brand new. The paint had started to re-liquefy off the walls. Maybe a bit dramatic but seriously the house smelled of fresh paint.

This was the temperature reading on the car as we approached the house. Within five minutes of being home, I found an A/C unit online and had it sent by two day air... As of this morning Saturday it has not arrived :( After spending way too much on the unit we resorted to the next best thing to cool off. The Costco cooler. We did laps around the store in hopes that by the time we returned the fans and open windows just might have cooled down the house to a bearable state.

Elle slept on our bed for a long time enjoying the ceiling fan. I think she has her legs up trying to cool down her bum.

One Month

Elleanor is happy to be finally turning one month old today!!! Seriously, we can't believe it has already been that long. Time is moving too quickly, Colby has to return to work on Tuesday.

We are amazed at the changes in both Elle and ourselves. Life has slowed down in our home and we are taking the time to enjoy every moment.

We had to rest up for our trip to Grami and Poppi's! Next time we post will be from No 81 road!

Nobody Home

Gamma and Gampa, I came to your house but nobody was there. I tried watching TV while I waited but, as usual, I fell asleep. I can't wait to come back tomorrow.

Hips don't lie

Elle had her appointment for the doctors to take a closer look at her hip sockets. Even though she wasn't breech, she has some pretty good "frogger" legs



They made us strip her down to her birthday suit including the diaper which they wouldn't let us throw away in the room. Elle decided to show them and left a big suprise in their nice heated towel. I guess they were asking for it. She does love a nice comfortable towel (see earlier post)

Everything turned out to be just fine and Elleanor can keep practicing for leap frog with the cousins.

Elle likes to put her foot up in the air when in her moses basket to let us know she is there.
