Ocean Shores

Before I can post pictures of our recent trip to Lake Chelan.  I thought it would be a good idea to post pictures from our trip to Ocean Shores for clam digging!

Elle loved playing in the sand!

Crafting back at the caboose!

Cleaning of the clams was the boys job :)

See it really was a caboose we stayed in!

Thank you Mom and Daddy-o for taking us along on your anniversary trip!  Here they are posing in from of the hotel they stayed in on their honeymoon :)

Winter time at the zoo!

We met up with Tracy, Sophie, Ceci, and Gia for a day at the zoo.

It was a cold one so we all had to bundle up!

Ceci checking out the giraffe.

The lions were out and about.  Tracy told us that some of the rocks are heated to help the animals stay warm since Washington's climate is polar opposite of the Sierra.

Elephants after bath time!

Playing with baby Elephant!

It was dang cold!

Sophie chatting with distance cousins.

Monkeying around!

The Kimono dragon was ginorous!!

The zoo has an indoor play area.  Elle and Gia had a lot of fun checking out the fish!

Watching the bongo players.

Ceci was so proud of this pose and asked that Uncle Colby take her picture!  Sure cute job Ceci!!

Lost Amigos outside of the new penguin exhibit.

Sophie going around the merry-go-round.

Here comes Ceci!

The ride was thumbs up!

They passed by in a blur...

Next we headed to the bird room.  Were you can purchase a $1 seed stick to feed the birds.

For the birds.

Ceci did great when a giant bird landed on her arm.

Sophie's 7th

Okay so no excuses.  We have been super lazy about our blog and I apologize.  Work has been out of control for both Colby and myself and the last thing we wanted to do at night is spend more time online.  However, it is now almost the end of November *gulp* but we are back in business thanks to a super cool new laptop!  So where did we leave off.

Ah, yes, Sophie's 7th birthday way back in September...

The fish party was awesome!

The children decorated the their bowls and watched patiently until it was their turn to pick a fish!

The canoe was a great place to eat cake!

Plus the paddle worked wonders on the fishy pinata!

Gia and Elle were able to sit back and chat while the others took turns whacking the pinata.

F is for Fish

Sophie's 7th birthday party was a goldfish party!  Of course we had to go fish at the pet store!

Mean while back at the cart...

Happy babies playing nicely until...

Elle touched me!

I said no.

Why did you hit me? Sorry, I didn't mean to but you crossed the invisible line.

Seriously this could be a picture of Tracy and me as children.  The invisible line was always too much of a temptation for me to handle!

The Chairs

We headed up to Birch Bay last weekend for Ceci's birthday and Ceci and Sophie's ballet recital.  Tracy had the cutest adirondack chairs for the girls.  Elle and Gia had so much fun sitting in them and babbling to each other.  We will be getting these chairs asap for our house for three reasons.

1. Little babies in mini grown up chairs are adorable!

2.  Babies can't get down unless helped :)

3.  Elle stayed put for over 5 minutes!!

Seriously, could this be any cuter??  An extra bonus is that they sell adult ones to match!  Yes, without a doubt we will have these too!!

Party prep for Gia's 1st Birthday

Long time no blog. Sorry for the long delay in posting! Now that Elle is crawling like mad it has become difficult to breakaway and blog. It seems every time you walk out of the room even for a nanosecond Elle finds something to gnaw on and lately it has been the furniture!

A few weeks back Elle and I headed up to Birch Bay with Grami to help Gia celebrate her first birthday! Tracy did an amazing job with the decorations!

Pictures of Gia for the cupcakes as well as to hang up around the room.

All dressed for the party!

The sweetest Gia cupcakes ever!

The dessert table was all set up and ready to go well before the guest begun to arrive.
