Home With A Few Visitors

We headed home from the hospital on Saturday.  We settled in and then my brother Marc, SIL Tracie, Olivia, Emma, Marcus, Grami, and Poppi came for a short visit.  They also brought lunch :)

Uncle Marc and  Emma with Baylor.  Uncle Marc and Baylor had matching tans!

Marcus even got in the action holding Baylor.

Olivia was so good with Baylor!

Auntie Tracie finally got a turn, I think she had to fight off the pack :)

Olivia got in some one on one time.

Baylor and Grami had a little talk before they headed back to the East side.  Thanks for the visit and yummy lunch!  We have been eating the leftovers all week!

Ocean Shores

Before I can post pictures of our recent trip to Lake Chelan.  I thought it would be a good idea to post pictures from our trip to Ocean Shores for clam digging!

Elle loved playing in the sand!

Crafting back at the caboose!

Cleaning of the clams was the boys job :)

See it really was a caboose we stayed in!

Thank you Mom and Daddy-o for taking us along on your anniversary trip!  Here they are posing in from of the hotel they stayed in on their honeymoon :)

Emma and Olivia Turn 4

The twins celebrated their 4th birthday over Memorial Day weekend!  We had a great trip over to Spokane with Grami and Poppi.  Tracie's Mom made the girls the prettiest cakes ever!  I think it may have been fancier then our wedding cake in fact!  The cake tasted just as good as it looked!

I tried to teach Elle how to use a party honker as they fascinated her!

She gave it a good shot!

Happy Birthday to Tracie, the girls Momma!  Today is actually her birthday!

The O House

We had a great visit with Marc, Tracie, Olivia, Emma, and Marcus! The weather was amazing. Both Colby and I wish we lived closer ! Marc and Colby went to the EWU game on Saturday while I was at the meet and greet shower.

Monkey play! Marcus has grown so much and was very proud of his ability to pull himself up. I just can't get enough of his smile! It is so precious!

Whoah, I can stand holding on with one hand!

We watched Sunday morning cartoons with Emma, Olivia, and Marcus.

Got to love Emma's smile!

Rubbing Daddy's head for luck. It was so cute how Marc wasn't phased as the girls petted him and Marcus drooled a bit on him. Again I wish we all lived closer!!

Easter Madness

Well, it’s Colby again…

I’m not in the air but I am in an airport. Chicago-O’Hare to be precise. I wasn’t completely thinking when I packed the bags this morning and forgot to throw in the passport. I remembered about 50 feet from the check-in counter and there was no way to make it home and back by takeoff. The only alternate itinerary left me with a 4-hour layover in Chicago with not much to do.

We had a wonderful Easter weekend in Ellensburg. On Friday, Kim and I went and finally went over our pictures with Molly, our photographer. It almost took as long as the wedding but we are really happy with what we are getting.

Saturday morning, the caravan (I believe 3 cars surely meets the definition) mounted up and went to Olmstead state park where the Moose club put on a great Easter Egg hunt. This is the girls right before the frenzy began.

We all either took a child or took a camera for the event and had a great time.

Afterwards, we strolled around the park for a while and enjoyed the scenery before we headed home.

Bruce finally got us all out bowling on Saturday afternoon. Here are Kim, Marc, and Bruce showing off some of their smooth form. Now I have to start to practice if I am going to be going to Vegas for nationals next year.

On Sunday, the Easter Bunny visited and there were more eggs to hunt for in the front yard. The girls were just as excited as they were the day before and there were plenty of treasures to go around. It was pretty cold but Marcus watched his sisters and cousins go at it. By next year, I can see him taking his fair share.

Here is Soph and Ceci comparing their finds.

On Sunday, we drove home via the new house and saw that they had sheet rocked the entire place. Unfortunately, all of the picture taking from the weekend had drained the battery so we don’t have photos but hopefully we can get some soon. We hope everyone had a great Easter!
