Letter from the BIG GUY!

Today when we got home work, Elle and Colby walked to the mailbox and guess what they found???



Yip, that is right a letter from the BIG Guy!! Santa sent Elleanor a letter from the North Pole!



Daddy and Elleanor sat by the tree to read what Santa wrote.

Elle had a few questions for Daddy.

Crèche 2010

Our good friends and neighbors Amy and Jeff  belong to the LDS church in our town.  Every year to celebrate the season their church holds a public Crèche event.  I believe I read that there were close to 400 on display this year.  Anyone in the community can participate and they place a card with the family that loaned it as well as where it is from.  It is amazing and really gets you in the holiday spirit!  We went last year and hope to continue going as it is a fun event to experience with our dear friends!

If I get back Chile I am going to pick up one of these as I just love the chickens and sleeping pup! 

We had a wonderful time plus Elle was able to make an ornament with Nora, Henry, Anne Marie, Charlie, Julia, and Kate!  Thanks A family for taking us!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We ordered Elle a Little People nativity set a few months ago but held off letting her play with it until after Thanksgiving.

Random Elle

Thanksgiving

We hosted Thanksgiving for Colby's side of the family this year.  Of course we for got to take pictures until after dinner.

Thanksgiving was a complete success other then the lack of pictures!  I wish I would have taken a before and after shot of the table.  I also bought to go packaging for everyone to take leftovers in. 

Halloween

It was so nice that Halloween fall on a weekend as we were able to get in some great Trick or Treating!

Pumpkin Patch

This year we headed to the local pumpkin patch with Liz, Myron, and Madelyn.  The girls wore their Halloween costumes to get into the spirit!  Can you guess what Elle was?

Yip a Holstein-Friesian cattle!  I am sure that is what you all guessed :)

We really enjoy this local farm and all the fun activities they provide!

Growing like a weed!  Must be all the milk :)
